Sean Kaufman and Ray Lynch lost the primary runoff election.

The voters of Cherokee County rejected the influence of out-of-state political spending and extreme positions of the “4 Can Do More” candidates Sean Kaufman and Ray Lynch. Susan Padgett-Harrison will sit on the board of education for District 6, as there is no Democrat to face her in November. Erin Ragsdale will face Democrat Sean Jackson in November for District 5.
